Regionalization a key question for Africans 
HARARE, Zimbabwe (UM News) — The proposed regionalization legislation coming to General Conference on April 23-May 3 is generating a lot of discussion among African United Methodists on both sides of the issue. Their votes could be key to whether regionalization can pass. Eveline Chikwanah reports.

UM News Digest moving to four days a week
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Due to limited resources, UM News is switching to a four-days-a-week schedule with the Daily Digest. We no longer will be providing a Digest on Thursdays except during special events such as General Conference or when there is breaking news that affects the denomination. UM News will continue to send out the Digest Monday through Wednesday as well as provide the Friday Digest, which includes the top stories from the week. The change will begin this week. The United Methodist Board of Global Ministries, in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, has produced a workbook for how congregations can improve their buildings’ energy and water efficiency.
